The Company
Thotaka Tekhnologies was incorporated in 2005 at Hyderabad, India.
2005-2010
Our Humble Beginnings
Founded in 2005 by two young engineers, Thotaka established itself as an Electronic Engineering Services Provider.
2011
Technology Licensing
By March 2011, Thotaka licensed out its SCADA-RTU design to a relay manufacturer. We evolved into a technology company
2015
Receive funding
Thotaka received funding from New York based Bravia Capital, expands its technology portfolio.
2017
Transform to ODM
Thotaka designs, produces and supplies electronics for utility meters, blenders, chronographs, data center monitors, billing machines.. under the firmcompute brand.
2019
Dedicated IoT Analytics practice
Thotaka starts IoT Analytics practice on its IoT stack enabling rapid deployments for customers across VPS and heterogenous cloud.
2019 - Present
Transfers 3+ designs to production every year
Thotaka has consistently designed 6 new products every year and has transferred a minimum of 3 designs to production every year.

Director & COO
Mohan has over 20 years of experience in product development. He oversees the operations of the company and architects all new products. He is a hands-on coder and a self-professed geek.
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics.
Master of Business Administration in Information Technology.
Balaji Venkatachalam
IoT and Analytics Architect
Balaji has over 15 years of experience in product development.
He architects the complete Device-to-Cloud chain, he is among the rare breed of engineers who develop Hardware, Firmware and Cloud side of things, a true IoT developer and architect.
He uses DxDesigner for schematic entry and PADS for Layout. He has routed DDR3 on 6 Layer boards in times of need.
He codes in VHDL, Verilog, C, Python, SQL, React.

Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay
Head - Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Delivery
Ashwini Kumar has over 12 years of experience spread across hardware engineering and supply chain management.
He has constantly applied his hardware design skill to optimize the Bill of Material from a cost and sourcing standpoint.
He is responsible for project deliverables and has won accolades from customers for making things happen.

Prasanna has over 23 years of experience in Sales. He has worked across a wide spectrum of products and services
He has worked in organizations such as ARM, HCL and has deep understanding of the domain.
He has is a consistent multi-tasker, seeking & harnessing new opportunities and creating win-wins for the company and our customers.
